Privacy Policy

ShelfGrader ("ShelfGrader", "we", "us") is operated by Kilkelly Enterprises, a sole trader trading as Clearway Apps (ABN 82 862 013 361). This policy explains what we collect, why, and what control you have. Questions: admin@clearwayapps.com.au.

What we collect

• Store URLs you submit. When you run a grade, we fetch and analyse the publicly available pages at the URL you give us, the same pages an AI shopping assistant would read. We do not log in to your store or access anything private.
• Your email, if you give it to us to receive results, buy a fix pack, or start a managed plan.
• Payment details. Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number, Stripe handles that. We keep a record of what you bought and your billing status.
• Usage and analytics data. We use Vercel Analytics (aggregate, privacy-friendly traffic stats) and Microsoft Clarity. Clarity records how visitors interact with the site, including a replay of mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and page navigation, plus heatmaps, to help us improve the product. See the disclosure below.
• Cookies and local storage, used to run the site, remember your session, and power the analytics above.

We use Microsoft Clarity to understand how the site is used through behavioural metrics, heatmaps, and session replay. Clarity captures interaction data and may set cookies. We use this only to improve ShelfGrader. Microsoft processes this data under its own terms, which you can read in Microsoft's privacy documentation.

How we use your data

• To produce your grade and the fixes.
• To process payments and manage your plan.
• To send you results and account or service messages.
• To operate, secure, and improve the product.
• To respond to support requests.

We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the services we need to run ShelfGrader:

• Stripe, for payment processing.
• Vercel, for hosting and analytics.
• Microsoft Clarity, for product analytics and session replay.
• Supabase, for data storage.
• Our AI provider (via the Vercel AI Gateway). To write the assistant's verdict, we send the public store content we fetched to a large language model. We do not send your personal account details for this.
• Our email provider, to deliver results and account email.

Each provider handles data under its own terms.

Data retention

We keep grade results and account records for as long as needed to provide the service and to meet legal and accounting obligations, then delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to delete your data sooner.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, for example under the Australian Privacy Act or the EU GDPR, you can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information, or to stop certain processing. Email admin@clearwayapps.com.au and we will action reasonable requests.

International processing

ShelfGrader is operated from Australia, and some of our providers store or process data in other countries, including the United States. By using ShelfGrader you understand your data may be processed outside your country.

Children

ShelfGrader is a tool for businesses and is not directed at children. Do not use it if you are under 16.

Changes

We may update this policy. We will change the "last updated" date above, and material changes will be made clear on the site.
